Homemade gift basket ideas are fun to come up with. You can put almost anything in a gift basket all you need is an idea. Most people get there gift basket making ideas just by walking around in some store they like.There are allot of places to get supplies from, my number one place is the dollar store you can find allot of good items there and supplies to like paper shred,ribbon,decorations and sometimes even baskets or containers.There are also your local craft stores and the grocery stores for the food items. If you don't know how to put a basket together there are a ton of videos on youtube.com that show you step by step how to put together one. Christmas gift baskets are the most fun to come up with. There are so many options when it comes to the holidays. There are also allot of fun Gift Wrap Ideas when it comes to the holidays.

Here are my top homemade gift basket ideas for anyone.

You can make this for one person or a whole family. First thing is write down all the items you want to put in the basket. Some of the things I would put in are a movie, popcorn, soda, candy and something comfortable for them like a throw blanket or a little pillow for there neck but you put in what you think they would like. Maybe they don't like some of that stuff so change it like instead of soda use juice boxes or they would rather have chips and not popcorn.Than find a container it can be a basket or a popcorn bowl anything that will hold your items that you picked out and goes with the theme.

Game night Gift Basket

This is one of my favorite homemade gift basket ideas. This is a great gift for any age. You can take any kind of games they can be board games,card games you can even make up your own game if your creative. Once you have the games you want in there you can stuff it with a whole bunch of snacks and some drinks just make sure there is enough snack for everyone you are giving the gift to. It is kind of like the movie basket but with games. You also have to make sure if you need a thing else that might go with the games like pen and maybe a notebook instead so you can look back on your scores.

Ice cream Basket

This one is pretty simple especially if you like ice cream sundaes like I do.You take all the ingredients you think can possibly fit in an ice cream sundae and stick it all in a basket or container of your choice. (minus the ice cream they buy that!)If you want to add other things you can add things like ice cream dishes, spoons and colorful toothpicks stuff like that just use your imagination.

Cookie gift basket

Bake up all kinds of different cookies you can even get creative with it use cookie cutters and those kits that make cookies into different things just about anything will do. Next you have to find something to put them in, it doesn't have to be a basket it can be a platter or a nice box. You can usually find that stuff at the dollar store along with ribbon and maybe some little candies to dress it up like hershey's kisses or any hard candy.Than all you have left is to put it all together I would also wrap the cookies individually with plastic wrap so they won't get hard.

Regift

This one might sound a little strange but it is a unique gift basket idea when you don't have allot to spend. You know we all have gifts that we have gotten they we don't use want or need. Say you got a kinds of bath salts, shower gel, lotion ect. You can take the items you already have and pair it with other stuffstick in a nice relaxing CD, candles, a lupha, a massager and you have a great relaxation gift basket.It also works with men's stuff to if they got a bottle of liquor that they don't care for you stick it with a shot glass, a deck of playing cards, dice and some poker chips and you got a great little poker gift basket

Who doesn't like pasta, you can't go wrong with this gift. For a container you can use a pasta bowl or a stainer. Some of the items you can put in this gift basket can be pasta any kindor a couple different kinds if you want, tongs, spices: garlic powder, onion powder, basil,oregano, sauce or sauces, olive oil, apron, pot holders and a little cookbook for pasta. These are just some ideas you can put some of these in or all anyway it will be a great gift.

Wine Gift Basket

This basket would be a great gift for any adult if they are a wine drinker. The things I like to put in a wine basket are wine a bottle or two, wine glasses, gourmet cheeses,olives,crackers, fruit and chocolates. If this is for a couple and you want to make it a little more romanticyou can add stuff like candles, messaging oil, romantic CD and a blanket for a picnic.

Coffee Gift Basket

A coffee gift basket is a good idea for any adult but if you are doing the gift basket for a child you can swap out coffee for hot chocolate. The items you can put in are a couple different types of coffee, coffee cups, biscotti, chocolate spoons, gourmet chocolate and cookies. If you want to make it a little bigger you can add more of a selection of coffee, book mark, a good book or a puzzle book. People like relaxing while they drink coffee so you can put stuff in the basket that they like to do to relax.

Baby Bath Basket

For the container of this basket you can use a bath caddy, baby tub(if adding allot of items) or just a nice reusable basket. Some items you can put in your gift basket are hooded towels, washcloths, baby wash, shampoo, lotion, lavender night time bath, bath toys, baby robe, pj's and onzies. If you are using a baby tub and need to fill it up more you can double this stuff that I listed it will definitely be used trust me.

This is one gift basket where you are going to have to think about what the person needs in there new home. If they are moving out for the first time and need almost everything then that won't be hard but if they are moving from another place it may be more difficult. If they are just starting out what you should do is pick a room and buy allot of little things for that room.

If you want to do a kitchen you can buy things like cooking utensils, pot holders, spices, hand towels, soap dispenser, fridge magnets, napkin holder, spoon rest and you can get a mixing bowl or a pot for the gift basket it self. If you are getting them items for any room make sure you go with there theme, most people already have a theme in mind for there rooms before they move in. If you want to go for the living room this may be a little easier you can add things like frames, coasters, candles, light bulbs, a small blanket, magazines for the coffee table) and any other small decorative item they may like for there living room. You get the idea just go along with these rules for the other rooms and It will be a great gift.
